Tide Tables from Reed's AlmanacIf you are looking for tide tables and information on tides in North America, a Reed's Almanac may be your solution. Our publications offer tide tables indicating times and heights for high tide and low tide. Reed's publishes three regional editions of its Nautical Almanac, each including tide tables for the featured region. Our North American East Coast edition contains tide tables for Nova Scotia to the Texas/Mexico border. Our North American West Coast Edition contains tide tables for the coast from Kodiak, Alaska through Baja, Mexico. Our Caribbean edition contains tide tables for the entire Caribbean basin including Southern Florida and the Bahamas. All of our tide tables are based on data collected and maintained by the U.S. National Ocean Service (NOS), the Canadian Hydrographic Service (CHS), and the United Kingdom Hydrographic Service, making our published tide tables the most reliable tide tables available. Our tide tables are presented in a custom format using software developed by Nautical Software, Inc. Reed's tide tables are compact and use times corrected for Daylight Saving. Our tide tables also include sunrise and sunset times for the middle and end of each month. EAST COAST TIDE TABLESOur North American East Coast edition has two sections contianing tide tables for different purposes. The first section features tide tables for tide prediction at 55 reference stations. These tide tables are organized into geographical order beginning with stations in Nova Scotia, Canada, and proceed south along the Atlantic coast through Florida and then North and West along the Gulf of Mexico, and ending with stations in Bermuda and the Bahamas. The second section contains differences tide tables that enumerate the time and height differences for almost 2,000 other locations (often called subordinate stations). We also include instructions on how to use the tide differences tables.
WEST COAST TIDE TABLESOur North American West Coast edition also contains two sections that feature tide tables. Like the East Coast edition, the first section of our West Coast edition features tide tables for tide prediction. This section contains tide tables for 48 reference stations including coverage for Puget Sound, British Columbia inside passage and the Hawaiian Islands. The second section contains difference tide tables for over 2000 locations, all adjusted for Daylight Saving time.
CARIBBEAN TIDE TABLESOur Caribbean edition contains tide tables for tide prediction at 15 reference stations from South Florida through the Gulf Coast of Mexico. This publication also contains hundreds of secondary tide predictions—a unique blend of data from different governments.
